The article reveals the importance of correct formation of a child’s ideas of space and
time and describes the algorithm of development of his/her spatial conceptions. The
existence of spatio-temporal relations in music is considered. At the end of the article
the author argues about the features of classes aimed at the development of musical
abilities of young pre-school children in connection with the features of their ideas of
space and time.
