The article is devoted to the creative cooperation between Russia and China in the fi eld
of fi ne arts, considering the example of the Union of Chinese Artists and Musicians,
established and operating in Saint Petersburg. The author shows the role of certain individuals in the formation of this organisation and describes the main events of the cultural interaction of the Union of Chinese artists with public organisations of Saint Petersburg.
