The paper presents the results of the studies on communicative attitudes of preschool and younger school children. It is found out that the degree of involvement in the information environment is one of the most important factors determining the specifi city of communicative attitudes of modern children. The author reveals the substantial transformation of attitudes’ components that mediate social behaviour as the children grow older.
