The article investigates the role of art and, in particular, the role of modern pictorial
composition in forming or “installation” of individual subjectivity through the example
of teaching students at fine arts higher educational establishments. In the author’s opinion, art is what becomes the centre of subjectivity “installation”. Speaking about the forming of subjectivity and creation of a particular piece of art, the author states the necessity to work out and justify a research model for every particular case. The author underlines that science cares of general regularities, but in case of subjectivity it is important to care not of uniformity but of variability.
