 Pedagogical testing of knowledge acquires particular importance at all levels of
education. This calls for extensive research in the field of testing methods and evaluation
of results, combined in a special scientific direction – testology. Intense interest is paid to
the unconventional forms of testing which make possible feedback from a testee at each
step of the test. The purpose of the paper is to review the main unconventional forms of
knowledge testing.
