The article describes the theoretical approaches to forming a personality’s legal culture. In the author’s opinion, the main factors influencing the formation of the legal culture include peculiarities of education and moral climate in a family, law-abiding behaviour of parents, quality of education at educational institutions, clarity, understandability and effectiveness of legislation. Special attention is paid to the adaptation of young people in today’s society, and education is given a special role.
