The topicality of the article is determined by the contradictions between the technical
and economic content of real cooperation relations realised in the course of development and the contractual system of development management built in the legal area of labour contract. The reason for these contradictions is peculiarities of the development product as an information product that cannot be taken into consideration in the legal area of labour contract. The author proposes solving these contradictions by means of building a contractual system of development management in a special legal area (the research and development legal area) that takes into consideration the information nature of the development product.
