The modern world with its fast-changing demographic situation, population shift,
interaction and exchange of cultures, puts forward the need for communication and
understanding in a uniform language – a language of international communication.
Most often English became such a language. In the former territory of the Soviet Union
and for the population of Russia this function was accepted by Russian. It became a
link between the peoples of Russia and the CIS. The whole education system is based
on it. Its learning is especially important in military higher educational institutions of
Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, since representatives of
all nationalities of the country and citizens of neighboring countries study there. Their
further professional activity will be closely related to the population of the state and will
involve Russian as a common and understandable language for everyone and a basis of international dialogue.
