The paper presents the results of the research on ideas of students of different age groups about the dangers of future professional activity and parameters that affect safety of the social-psychological space of educational and vocational activity. The author shows the specificity of ideas about a profession’s danger degree, about factors mainly determining safety of professional activities, and about associations with a sense of danger. The paper covers the differences in the degree of impact on safety of the social and psychological space of parameters characterising the psychological climate and professional environment, information security, responsibility and ergonomic aspects of environmental conditions. The author also analyses individual psychological differences of age groups.
