Abstract. These days, there is a shift in professional self-determination to student years and regular rethinking of oneself as a professional throughout lifetime. This is due not just to the changing economic and political situation in the country, but also to the appearance of the unified state exam, which allowed students to choose various study directions after school. Professional self-determination is not “for a lifetime” anymore, on the contrary, it is related to the particular period of time. Professional self-determination is determined by the cohesive work of three spheres of a person: the adaptive, professional and personal, and acmeological spheres. One of the major tasks of psychological and pedagogical support in university is the help in making funds for implementing professional self-development. This requires the creation and implementation of a comprehensive model of psychological and pedagogical support aimed at professional self-determination of students and carried out in three areas (adaptive, professional and psychological, and acmeological) through game training as a pedagogical system.
