Abstract. This article is devoted to understanding how social factors affect our ideas about time coordinates and how the perception of time can change in a medical worker. The social upheavals of recent decades, reduced to the extreme instability of the world and the super-speed of processes, have actualised the need to comprehend the value status of the phenomenon of time. In the course of the study, the author determined that the growth of information technologies, the technical improvement of a person’s daily life, does not change, but strengthens the deep relationship of the value of time with the value of life and health. Information technologies provide unique opportunities for a person, but at the same time, they cause difficulties in including a person simultaneously in a number of social processes, during which the personal, spiritual loses value and is reduced to the impossibility of feeling a holistic being.
