Abstract. The article considers the main coping strategies and signs of crises of adulthood of 30 and 40 years of age. During the age 30 crisis, a person uses active coping more often, compared to the crisis of 40 years of age. Avoidance of solving the problem leads to pronounced self-defensive actions and aggressive forms of behaviour.
