The content of the paper is devoted to the choral heritage of the world’s famous composer and musician, one of the brightest representatives of the Russian musicians abroad — Valery Arzumanov. The author’s attention is focused on the «Forgiveness»
choral concert, which continues the theme of repentance in the composer’s work. Analytical refl ections are focused on the fi gurative and semantic content of the opus, the features of its musical drama, and compositional solution.
