The paper examines the graphic heritage of the Russian artist Z. E. Serebryakova (1884–1967), whose work, which is one of the brightest and most original pages of Russian fi ne art, is on a par with the most important European artists of the XX century. On the example of several features of Serebryakova's drawings, the author
examines the peculiarities of her drawing technique, the originality of the artistic image of her works, and determines the signifi cance in the national visual art.
