The  article  deals  with  the  problem  of  forming  students’  artistic  picture  of  the  world from the perspective of the humanitarian approach to education, whose purpose is to 

develop the humanitarian culture of students’ personalities. The structural components 

of the humanitarian culture indicate that it is closely connected with the whole picture 

of the human world, in which the artistic picture of the world stands out. Spirituality as 

a meaning-forming component of art becomes an important component of the artistic 

picture of the world and a system-forming component of the humanitarian culture of 

an individual. The inclusion of musical art in the formation of the artistic picture of the 

world is a necessary condition for the development of the humanitarian culture of an 

individual.
