The paper analyzes various aspects of the concept of “civil society”
on the example of the Turkish model, which has its own specifi c
features. In particular, political analytic centers are considered
as non-governmental organizations that are engaged in providing
information for a deeper understanding of the characteristics of
the Turkish foreign policy. The author also refers to the chronicle
of the emergence and formation of the Turkish civil society, which
is directly related to the processes of modernization and seculariza-
tion.
