Allusions to the Arthurian legend in J. K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter”

The article describes allusions to the Arthurian legend in “Harry Potter” by J. K. Rowling: much attention is drawn to the specifi c characters, such as the eponymous hero, Ginny and Percy Weasley, or their father, Arthur; the theme of “Real vs Fake knight”, central to the books, is also touched upon. Moreover, the article discusses the idea of the Arthurian legend which signifi cantly infl uenced the narrative structure in terms of “fulfi lling a quest”.
