The paper describes the results of the focus group research on risks of criminal involvement of a person in modern society. The analysis of respondents’ ideas revealed a complex of situations and four conceptual clusters reflecting the spheres of life connected with the possibility to involve people into criminal activity. The research novelty consists in
the new scientifc knowledge about the content of the construct reflecting respondents’
social ideas about the phenomenon under consideration.
