The article is devoted to the comprehensive teaching of Russian somatisms to Chinese students, from their verbal expression to semantic and cultural interpretation. Verbalisers of somatisms consist of two components: a word meaning of a human body part and a verb. The author analyses the meaning of somatisms in Russian and Chinese in their comparison and studies the stages of teaching verbalisers of somatisms at Russian language lessons.
