I. I. Yugai
Price: 50 руб.
In modern art, its technogenic forms are becoming increasingly widespread. Despite the scale of the ongoing processes, which can be estimated by the number of exhibitions, conferences, competitions devoted to technical arts, it is necessary to recognize that the
contemporary art history lags far behind in their comprehension, largely because these processes are not yet completed. This study refers to the fi rst massive experience of using technical tools in the international art practice — media art of the period 1960–1990. The fi ndings reveal features related to the creative attitudes of the authors, the form of the work, the role of the author and the viewer of the media artwork.
Keywords: new media art, technological art, contemporary art, multimedia, media-art.
