Modern culture interprets creativity as a cultural need and a professional duty of a person. The phenomenon of creativity in its present form was not known to the previous periods of history. The theory of creativity is formed gradually, beginning with romanticism, together with common views on art. The mass culture of the 20th — 21st centuries gives a special value to creativity.
