The paper presents the results of the neuropsychological diagnostics of verbal, motor and visual memory in children of senior preschool age with phonetic-phonemic and general underdevelopment of speech. The author shows how mnestic activity mediates various kinds of brain processes, which are a prerequisite for a child’s speech development.
