ANTIVITAL EXPERIENCES OF ADOLESCENTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY

 The work is devoted to the influence of psychological safety of the educational
environment on antivital experiences of adolescents. 579 adolescents and 488 teachers
from 13 educational organisations in one of the subjects of the Northwestern Federal
District took part in the empirical part of the study. I. A. Baeva’s method “Psychological
Safety of Educational Environment” was used to study the level of this safety. To
analyse the characteristics of antivital experiences of adolescents, the author of the
paper used several techniques: UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3, D. Russell and
M. Ferguson), PDQ-IV questionnaire, Hopelessness Scale (Beck et al. 1974), CDI
(Children’s Depression Inventory) questionnaire (M. Kovacs, 1992). The results of
the empirical research showed that the level of psychological safety of the educational
environment has an impact on the character and manifestation of antivital experiences
of adolescents.
