I. V. Volkova
Price: 50 руб.
The article is dedicated to the relation of bullying among teenagers and teacherstudent
interaction styles. Bullying is measured with the Olweus Bully/Victim
Questionnaire, and interaction styles are studied according to I. Sokolov’s “Styles
of Pedagogical Interaction”. The study took place in 2 secondary schools of Nizhny
Novgorod. The total sample numbered 348 students of 7th–9th forms and 80 teachers.
The results revealed that in schools, where the teacher-student interaction style is
more controlled and benevolent, a higher number of children are not involved in
bullying, and there are less victims, offenders and witnesses. Children from these
schools are less afraid of bullying, and adults are more likely to stop bullying in case
it happens.
Key words: bullying, teacher-student interaction styles, occurrence of bullying,
educational environment.
