The new model of attestation of Russian language teachers

 The paper justifies the new approaches to attestation of Russian language teachers.
The necessity for renewal of professional examination procedures is determined by
the lack of formation of professional competencies of a modern practicing teacher. The
paper presents a list of perspective expected results and social effects of testing and
introduction of a new 3-component model of attestation in the format of professional
examination. The peculiarity of a professional examination is a technology of levelbased criterion assessment of the complex of professional competencies of a Russian language teacher.
