Teaching musical work structure plays an important role in the system of higher music education in China. As a result of professional music training and its different objectives, piano teaching at universities is becoming more professional and pedagogical nowadays. Based on the characteristics and purposes of piano training at universities, the author of the paper analyses the parameters and methods of teaching and the content of specialised courses in this education.
