The article is devoted to preservation of traditional culture and tasks of art education
in Russia, China and other countries. The author considers the correlation of traditional Chinese art and modern methods of teaching in art universities, and shows the necessity for improving professional skills of perception and analysis of art works, which would help young specialists to develop a universal system of aesthetic evaluation of an art image.
