The article considers the problem of improving the quality of educational training of
specialists in the fild of military psychology. Modelling of the educational process in
a university involves realisation of the principles of the comprehensive and activity
approaches to learning, whereby the focus is on the disclosure of personal potentials of
all subjects of the educational process. The authors propose to consider the integration
of these methodological approaches as a central condition for the formation of basic
competencies of future offiers-psychologists, primarily negotiation and conflct
competencies, as it corresponds to the requirements for military personnel of the National
Guard troops of the Russian Federation.
