The article considers the idea of hierarchy in the philosophy of P. A. Florensky. Using a
wide range of sources, the author makes an effort to reveal the foundations of the idea
about the hierarchical structure of the world, asserting the necessary correlation of Florensky’s ontology and gnoseology with his model of social hierarchy.
