The article deals with explicit and implicit information in the text. Both explicit and implicit information in the text is passed with the help of the lexical and grammatical means. Explicit speech is multivalent, i.e very explicit information may carry implicity. The latter is
associated with barely detectable explicitness or going into detail of explicit information and it may cause different interpretations of the text. Such feature affects both creation and perception of the text and makes it necessary to determine cohesion between the units of text. In other words, the explicit and implicit gradually become intertwined
as the text unfolds.
