The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical analysis of the phenomenon
of psychological readiness for professional activity among students studying psychology. The main aspects of forming the psychological readiness are motivational-willing
and valuable-notional components, on which the authors base three thematic blocks of
ideas of students studying psychology about their future profession.
