The detailed analysis of integration of national and confessional Muslim values and
traditions is presented in the article. It covers the resources and ways of promotion
of traditional Islam in modern Russian reality considering the nearest Islam-Turkic
environment as natural surroundings of cultivation of one of the world religions and
an ethnosphere. Under growing geopolitical contradictions concerning the Islam factor
and its politisation, it becomes more relevant to train national and Muslim intellectuals
having Russian culture, identity and able to find an optimum balance of traditional
cultural grounds, general, national and religious values in forming the world outlook of
the domestic youth.
