SOCIO-CULTURAL APPROACH TO THE REFLECTION ON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SOCIALISATION: ADVANTAGES AND RESTRICTIONS

S. E. Il’in
Price: 50 руб.
The paper suggests to consider the social and cultural context of cognitive activity in
reflecting on knowledge about socialisation. The socio-cultural approach is mentioned as a means of the required methodological procedures. The advantages and disadvantages of this approach are discussed. The advantages include the opportunity to define knowledge about socialisation as discourses that are supported by social practices, whereas the potential drawbacks include the lack of intention to construct a comprehensive image of knowledge. The author proves the necessity of combining the socio-cultural approach with other methodological means.
Key words: reflection on knowledge, knowledge about socialisation, socio-cultural
approach, spheres of existence, discourse and text, author.
