EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND PRONENESS TO CONFLICT: HYPOTHESES AND RESULTS

O. I. Shcherbakova, O. I. Golubeva
Price: 50 руб.
The article is devoted to the experimental study of the relationship between emotional
intelligence and proneness to conflict of a personality. The authors proposed three
hypotheses about the existence of this relationship and tested students using two tests:
D. Lyusin’s emotional intelligence test and V. I. Andreyev’s evaluation of proneness to
conflict. The experiment showed the ambiguity of the results and the necessity of a more representative sample and, possibly, other methods of research and other variables in order to make final conclusions.
Key words: emotional intelligence, personal intelligence, personality’s proneness to
conflict, understanding of emotions, modulation of emotions.
