The Signifi cance of Feĭ nberg’s Book «Pianism As Art» for the Modern Chinese Piano Pedagogy and the Performing Arts

The article analyzes the book by the outstanding Russian pianist S. Feĭ nberg from the vantage point of the modern piano performing art and pianism. The author explores the

issues most crucial for the Chinese piano art. He reviews the composition style, rhythm, musical form, sound, and pedalization.
