The article presents the results of the study on the meanings of evidentiality markers
(suffi xes of unobviousness) in the Tundra Yukaghir language. The author considers the concept of evidentiality as a semantic category, distinguishes types of evidentiality and means of their expression in the Tundra Yukaghir language.
