NECESSITY OF DIFFERENTIATION OF THE CONCEPTS “INTEGRATION” AND “GLOBALISATION”

M. N. Milovzorova
Price: 50 руб.
The article discusses the issues related to the conceptual uncertainty in the study of
“integration” and “globalisation”. The author proves that it is necessary to differentiate
strictly the concepts of “integration” and “globalisation”. The fi rst one is shown in the
article in relation to the Hegelian concept of the concrete universal, implying unity
in diversity, a multipolar world. The concept of “globalisation” is identifi ed with the
concept of One World (The West and The Rest), with a unipolar world, and creation of
a unifi ed civilisation.
Key words: integration as a multipolar world order, globalisation as world domination,
interdependence, values and standards of conduct of Western society.
