Digital technologies change not only our way of life and provide more and more new ways of communication, but also affect the structures of our brain, changing its cognitive qualities. The Internet expands the intellectual capabilities of the average person, and artificial intelligence is able to surpass a person in a number of mental operations already at the present time. At the same time, new ways of effective thinking are emerging, allowing us to develop the advantages of the human brain in its competition with artificial intelligence. The emergence of the Internet of things means a new era in the progressive movement of the “digital world”, in which the technology of a network tolerant to any subscribers will prevail. “Smart home”, “smart city” are today’s creations of the Internet of things. Monitoring of life support systems, emergency prevention, protection of life and health, service services are only a small list of tasks for new technologies. In general, they should act to ensure a high quality of life.
Keywords: Internet of things, heterogeneous systems, man-technology, cognitive
