FORMING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS’ CREATIVE ABILITIES IN COMPOSITION IN ART EDUCATION

In the context of trends in the development of modern art education, the importance of 
innovation and creativity for the composition of a painting is analysed in this article from 
the standpoint of philosophy. The starting point of the research is subjective activity, 
then the author studies and analyses practical examples of problems of methodology 
and teaching composition in higher educational institutions in Russia and China. It is 
proved that the development of creative abilities in the system of modern art education 
is  extremely  important  for  teaching  and  research  of  composition.  Based  on  this,  the author  formulates  the  signi垹cance  and  role  of  the  formation  of  students’  individual abilities for innovation and creativity in the process of professional training in the field of composition in the visual arts.
