The family acts as an environmental factor in the formation of a teenager’s personality.
The study of educational activities of parents has shown a signi垹cant role of the mother in the formation and development of personality and the formation of adolescent behaviour. The article presents an analysis of empirical data showing the in와uence of inharmonious styles of family upbringing by mothers on the formation of delinquent behaviour in adolescents. The lack of adequacy, 와exibility and prognosticality in the position of the mother, increased hyperprotection, emotional rejection and abuse are likely to contribute to the formation of delinquent behaviour in the adolescent.
