THE USE OF LITERARY WORKS IN TEACHING VISUAL ARTS TO CHILDREN AT CHINESE PRIVATE ART SCHOOLS

The mutual enrichment of the Russian and Chinese experience in teaching visual arts 
is relevant for the development of children’s art education. Based on the analysis of the 
methods and approaches of integration of visual arts and belles-lettres and the experience of work at a private art school in China, the authors of the paper propose a model of the integrated approach to teaching visual arts based on the combination of traditional Chinese and modern Russian methods of including literary works in teaching visual arts.
