Book graphic design always faces the confrontation between commerce and art: either the commercial value of a book cannot be realised due to a too big emphasis on the artistic side, or an excessive emphasis on the commercial nature leads to a decrease in the artistic value of the book, which in turn holds back distribution and promotion of publications. The prospects for the development of book graphics are quite broad, and its intrinsic value is extremely high. However, for the long-term development of book graphic
design, it is still necessary to solve a number of problems existing in modern design. Thus, in this work, a comprehensive analysis of the features of the combination of commerce and art is carried out, which aims to facilitate the long-term development of Chinese graphic design.
