This paper is devoted to the play directed by V. E. Meyerhold “Roar, China!”. The work analyzes such characteristics of the play as “multiple space” and stage sounds,
which largely determined the originality of the director’s work. In addition, the resemblance of the Meyerhold’s play “Roar, China!” with Chinese traditional musical
drama is revealed.
