The article investigates the parametric information coding system that provides barrier-
free, waste-free, unlimited processes of cognition by a subject of activity of a rapidly
changing  professional  environment  when  solving  a  relevant  professional  problem
(creating a competitive product with predictable properties). The main idea is to use
the special properties of the parametric scale of relations, which is a fractal scale of
the directions of a subject’s activity, providing a certain representation of the objects
of activity through the values of self-similar parameters of the order of the subject’s
professional activity presentation space, in order to measure the object’s state during
its construction. Of particular interest is the continuous parametric assessment of the
impact of each step of the design process on the parameters of the constructed object, the novelty, completeness, depth, and reliability of the decision made.
Key  words:  professional  self-development,  construction  of  valuable  knowledge,
relationship scale, parametric assessment.
