The article deals with the problem of anxiety in adolescents, which is relevant for modern
psychology of development and pedagogical psychology. Not only the characteristics of
general anxiety are speciʇed, but also the speciʇc reasons that are the most stressful for
students of the 8th–9th grades of modern secondary school.
