The paper provides an overview of patriotic songs in China in different years. The meaning and distribution of songs has always been closely connected with the events taking place in the country — with war and victory, with leaders, with the proletariat. The patriotic movement in China is very powerful and comprehensive, it covered the whole country, and the role of the songs was enormous. They glorifi ed heroes, rulers, victory over the enemy, the people, the Communist Party. The melody of the songs features the ascending movement and quartic intonation moves, the meter is clear, the rhythmic
formulas are based on the ostinato dotted rhythm. The songs aimed to foster patriotic feelings among the younger generation of China.
Keywords: patriotic song, energy, rhythm, proletariat, march, China, leader, gloriication,
emotions, creativity.
