The article touches upon the importance of the educational component of the musical
and pedagogical profession. According to the author, the educational process of remote
study departments of musical pedagogical universities still does not take into account
this global trend at the technological and didactic level, and in terms of research on this
issue. One of the effective ways of actualisation of this vector, in the author’s opinion,
is the use of the competence-related, context-activity, subjective, synergetic approaches
that facilitate the Bne-tuning of the relevant musical and methodological material of the educational process. The complex use of these approaches, their correlation and combination in remote musical and pedagogical education is an issue of professional competence, professional intuition of a teacher-mentor, and depends on many factors —
the age of students, their personal qualities, educational level, motivational component,
group or individual forms of education, speciBc discipline, etc. At the same time, not only
technological methods, performing qualities are formed, but also the ability to appeal to
the most different context as the most important methodological tool of professional
competence of a teacher-musician.
