METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS TO ELECTIVE COURSES DESIGN

The article discusses the specifi cities of elective courses design. The authors fi nd that 
it is important to analyse the theoretical and organisational tools for elective courses 
design and discuss the problems regarding these courses’ development. Special attention is paid to multiple-factor analysis aimed to reveal interests and needs of students, which makes the elective courses relevant. The authors also underline the role of practice-oriented tasks in designing the content and evaluating the results gained in elective courses.
