With the continuous development of digital media technologies, works of digital media art have passed the transition from digital to intellectual expression, from interactive perception to embodied cognition. At the same time, against the background of materialistic aesthetics, a new direction of cognitive aesthetics has emerged, based on cognitive psychology. The article is devoted to the study of characteristics and peculiar aesthetic features of digital media art works, as well as the role of supplementary software in teaching digital media.
