The article is devoted to the topical issues of art practice training in higher art education
institutions of Russia. The author claims that creation of a high quality art work requires
both objective and subjective factors including fi rst of all a knack for creativity. Talent,
rather, represents such concentration of forces of a personality that facilitates the crea-
tion of new forms. Respectively, the author considers that the knowledge of structure in
itself does not come. Knowledge is acquired in the process of observation, research, and
also receiving purposeful pedagogical consultation.
